Description
Mia Andrews doesn't know much about North Korea. She's heard only that a dictator controls everything, lots of people don't have enough to eat, and many more are forced to work in harsh labor camps. Yet, that's exactly where Mia finds herself, on a tour of North Korea with her aid-worker father and surly older brother, Simon. Then, out of nowhere, Dad is arrested for spying, just as forbidden photographs of the labor camps fall into Mia's hands. Mia and Simon don't have food, money, Internet access, or transportation. They don't speak Korean; they barely speak to each other. But as they run from soldiers and search for food on their harrowing journey across North Korea, Mia will discover surprising new truths about herself and her brother. And they'll need every strength they have to survive, because getting caught could mean prison -- or worse.
