When Santa falls ill and Christmas may have to be canceled, Pete the cat comes to the rescue.

Pete the cat loves the buttons on his shirt so much that he makes up a song about them, and even as the buttons pop off, one by one, he still finds a reason to sing.

Pete and his friends are rockin' and groovin' while counting down the days to Christmas! Who needs five golden rings, when you can have five onion rings?

"Pete the Cat and his friends are having so much fun playing and surfing in the sun, they don't want the day to end. As he walks down the street, Pete the cat sings about his brand new white shoes as they change from red to blue to brown to wet.

When his friends are less than impressed by the crayon portraits he draws of them, Pete the cat begins doubting his artistic abilities before reconnecting with his unfailingly creative, groovy spirit and the realization that there are no mistakes in art.
