When a young boy's father is worried about the crops and his mother loses her job, the boy worries as well. He tries counting sheep to help him sleep but they only multiply. Then he has a solution as a result of believing in his dreams. When a little boy can't sleep from worrying about his dad's failing farm, he decides to count sheep, but when these sheep start appearing in his room he realizes how he can save his dad's business.

A young girl adopted from China sees that her hair and skin color are different from that of her parents. She finds, however, that there's much more to making a family than sharing red hair and freckles.
