Description
Bill Kurtis examines this unusual case with the help of investigators and attorneys intimately familiar with it, along with those who knew Brach. She was an eccentric heiress whose family founded one of America's most famous candy companies. In 1977, she disappeared without a trace. For twenty years, law enforcement officials tried to solve the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of Helen Brach. Finally, in 1995, a former lover was convicted in connection with her death. But her body has never been found, and many believe that other people involved remain unpunished. See how her unorthodox passions may well have led to her to uncover a criminal cabal that was willing to kill to protect their secret, and explore other theories about her fate.
