Description
Dirty Harry: A rooftop sniper named Scorpio has killed twice. Streetwise San Francisco police detective Harry Callahan will nail the perp one way or another, no matter what "the system" prescribes. -- Magnum force: Detective Harry Callahan is pitted against an unexpected lawbreaker: one who carries a badge. Sharpshooting rookie motorcycle cops have turned vigilante, rubbing out crooks the courts can't touch. Their real enemy is the system. Unfortunately for them, the system is what Harry is sworn to protect. -- The enforcer: Detective Harry Callahan has a new partner, Inspector Kate Moore, who has two jobs: tracking down a band of armed-and-wacko terrorists and winning Harry's confidence. --Sudden impact: Sensitive to outcries of police brutality, San Francisco Detective Harry Callahan bosses send him on an out-of-town assignment until events cool down. But wherever Harry goes, things just get hotter. -- The dead pool: finds Inspector Callahan investigating an unusual betting game played by a film director and his crew, which has the players create a list of 10 celebrities they think will die. The winner is the one with the highest number of dead celebrities. Soon, however, people on the list begin to die under mysterious circumstances. Callahan is assigned to the case and discovers his name has made the list.
