Description
"Doña Cándida is a Spanish widow who lives in a well-to-do neighborhood in Mexico City, who has deceived her political relatives in Spain so that they can continue sending her the pension that corresponds to her husband the Marquis Don Fabián de Castro. He died many years ago, in order to comfortably support Carmina (Silvia Pinal), the daughter of both. The problems begin for Doña Cándida when the operators of the Peralvillo-Cozumel truck line decide to install their terminal in front of their house taking with them the noise of their operations and the diversions they practice. Among those truckers, its leader 'El Bofes' (Joaquín Pardavé) and his young friend Gilberto stand out, who are in love with mother and daughter respectively"--Machine translation of Wikipedia synopsis.
