Once upon a time, in a distant land, there was a prosperous kingdom, ruled by a just and wise king, loved and respected by his subjects. He had established schools all over the country. That of the palace was attended by students chosen from among the best, from all strata of society. The king would later recruit his collaborators and advisers from among them. Curiously, one of the king's eyes was laughing and the other was crying. No one dared ask him why. But one day, during a trip to the country, the king stops to rest near an orange grove, and meets a young boy, Shamil, who works there. This one dares to question him and provokes his anger. Struck however by the frankness and the loyalty of the boy, the king makes him enter the school of the palate.
