School for Scoundrels: Mr. S. Potter is headmaster of a school which gives instruction on "How to win without actually cheating." The school teaches the ways to seduce a women, gain points in a conversation, or beating someone who plays a better game. One of Mr. Potter's pupils is a desperate Henry Palfrey whose every attempt to win the heart of April Smith has been thwarted by the cad Raymond Delauney. Needless to say Mr. Potter's instructions allow Henry to vanquish his nemesis and win April's affections, though not quite as Mr. Potter had intended.
Description

A timid, conscientious bank clerk is to hold up the bank manager with a water pistol; a domestic tyrant is to get a job as a maid and keep it for a month; a playboy and gambler is to propose to and marry the first girl he meets; a writer of cheap thrillers is to commit a crime which will send him to jail for a month. These exploits, presented simultaneously, are attempted with varying success. Eventually the heirs meet again to find that the practical joker is still at work: there is no money.
