Based on the beloved character created by M.C. Beaton, Agatha Raisin, public relations specialist, moves from London to the small village of Carsley, hoping for a quieter, simpler life. She soon finds her dreams dashed when she becomes a murder suspect after entering a quiche-making competition. To save her reputation, she sets out to solve the murder and discovers that she has a talent for crime solving, even if it means her new life in the country is not the restful one she had imagined.
