Description
Chet Redleaf, marshal of Mandan, is part Indian. When someone steals $4000 from the local stage while the driver and guard worked on a wheel, Lester Riley, a freighter who is being delayed in Mandan from taking his cartage, sides the marshal in the investigation. Going to the scene of the robbery, they are perplexed to find that the men who stole the money box left tracks - moccasin tracks. But there is no Indian tribe in the vicinity. There are some hold-outs suspected to be hiding in the mountains, but they have no use for money...
