Horn Book Review
Loosely categorized as American rhymes, this compilation lacks a true organizing focus but includes both the familiar and the obscure, the old and the new, and even Clement C. Moore's narrative poem 'A Visit from St. Nicholas.' Watercolors with an old-fashioned flavor appear on pages overcrowded with verse. From HORN BOOK 1993, (c) Copyright 2010.
