Description
With $22 tucked in his sock, 11-year-old Eric sets off across the city's rough-and-tumble streets to pick up his grandmother's prescription. He decides to join a quick game of baseball, but the game goes into overtime. To make up for lost time, Eric heads down the shortcut his mother strictly forbade, where he runs into mischievous pals and scheming elders. While Eric struggles to make decisions that will get his grandmother's medicine into his hands, soon night is falling and sirens are blaring. Now with the love and support of a close-knit family, Eric will go from getting it all wrong to getting it right.
