Description
Siege of Sydney street: in 1911 a standoff is sparked between Russian anarchists and police. The frightened man: a furniture-antique shop owner earns cash from handling stolen goods to send his son to Oxford, but the son gets thrown out, returns to his father, and gets involved with bad guys. Crimes at the dark house: a madman kills the recipient of an inheritance to gain his estate, but not everyone believes he is the rightful heir. The hooded terror: a multimillionaire stamp collector is actually the head of the country's most notorious organized crime ring, and an amateur endeavors to track him down. Girl in the news: an unsuspecting nurse, once acquitted of killing a patient and now hired to care for a wheelchair-bound man, is set up by the man's wife and butler who are plotting to kill the husband. Tread softly stranger: sexy Calico (Diana Dors) tries to get her boyfriend and his newly arrived and crooked brother an office safe.
