Faith of my fathers: People know John McCain as a maverick presidential candidate, but before a life in politics, he was an honored naval officer. As a freshman at the Naval Academy, young McCain takes extra razzing because he is the privileged son of a Navy captain. Made tougher by that experience, McCain is soon flying bombing missions over Vietnam. Shot down, he becomes an inmate at the infamous prison camp, the Hanoi Hilton. But beaten, starved and isolated, McCain's honor cannot be taken-- at any price.

The fog of war: The story of America as seen through the eyes of Robert S. McNamara, the former Secretary of Defense under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson. McNamara was one of the most controversial and influential political figures of the 20th century. Now, he offers a candid and intimate journey through some of the most seminal events in contemporary American history. He offers new and often surprising insights into the 1945 bombing of Tokyo, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the effects of the Vietnam War.
