Rural quizzes and contests with the man on the farm, Arlene Francis arranging an evening on the town between servicemen and beautiful models on Blind Date can also be enjoyed, along with newspaper reporter Randy Stone uncovering the human side of the news on the Night Beat, and popular singing star James Melton appearing in two mid 1940s rebroadcasts of The Texaco Star Theater.
