Description
This novel takes place in a future society called Atlantis, whose government wants to wipe out all human history from the memory of the "survivors of the future". The use of language is illegal. Lear, a paleographer, clandestinely investigates a document that will transport her to colonial Mexico.

Esta propuesta literaria recoge tres manuscritos en un texto: la crónica escrita por Hernando de Rivas en el siglo XVI, donde narra en latín la verdadera historia del Colegio de Santa Cruz de Tlatelolco. En la difícil década de los noventa, Estela Díaz encuentra el manuscrito y se dedica a interpretarlo para después también esconderlo con su retrato personal. Finalmente, Lear, una mujer de la comunidad de sobrevivientes del futuro, recibe el manuscrito escondido por Estela, y al mismo tiempo que traduce las dos versiones que éste contiene, cuenta su vida en L'Atlàntide. La prohibición de la memoria llevará a la abolició́n del lenguaje, lo que tendrá consecuencias inimaginables.
