Description
Homeless to Harvard: Liz Murray was raised in poverty by drug-addicted parents. Though they loved her, they were unable to care for her and Liz ended up living on the streets by the age of 15. Profoundly affected by her mother's AIDS-related death, Liz forced herself to look at her future and make some significant changes. Her prospects were dismal, yet she turned her life around by going back to high school. While still homeless, Liz earned her diploma in two years. She went on to win a New York Times scholarship for needy students, which enabled her to attend Harvard University.

We were the Mulvaneys: Based on the true story of the Mulvaney family. A hardworking father, a loving mother, three fine sons and a bright, pretty daughter. They are confident in their love for each other and of their position in the community of Mt. Ephraim. But then something happens on Valentine's Day 1976: an incident that is hushed up in the town and never spoken of again in the Mulvaney home.
