Description
Shogun Assassin : The adventures of Ogami Itto, first a noble samurai, then the most feared assassin in Japan. Known as Lone Wolf, he travels the road of vengeance with his infant son Daigoro and a heavily-armed baby cart. As adapted from combined footage of the first and second episodes of the Lone Wolf and Cub adventure series, the extensive re-editing, new scoring, and re-written English language soundtrack effectively offer audiences a new film. Among the significant changes from the original two source films, this version is narrated by the child character.
Description
Shogun Assassin 2, Lightning swords of death : The English-dubbed version of the third film in the Lone Wolf & Cub series, originally titled "Baby Cart to Hades". Lone Wolf undergoes torture to demonstrate his honor and buy the freedom of a girl facing a forced life of prostitution. His impressed torturers then hire Lone Wolf to kill a corrupt governor.
Description
Shogun Assassin 3, Slashing blades of carnage : The English-dubbed version of the fourth film in the Lone Wolf & Cub series, originally titled "Baby Cart in Peril". The Lone Wolf is hired to kill a tattooed female assassin, but the job is not as straightforward as it seems. Meanwhile, Gunbei Yagyu, earlier disgraced by the Lone Wolf in a duel before the Shogun, happens upon the young Daigoro and sees his own chance for revenge.
Description
Shogun Assassin 4, Five Fistfuls of Gold : The English-dubbed version of the fifth film in the original Lone Wolf & Cub series. 5 warriors challenge the Lone Wolf to duels. Each has 1/5th of his usual fee, and 1/5 of the information he needs to complete his new assignment. Lone Wolf must be skillful enough to not only kill them, but kill them in such a way as to allow them to tell him what he needs to know.
Description
Shogun Assassin 5, Cold Road to Hell : The English-dubbed version of the sixth and final film in the original Lone Wolf & Cub series. Having dispatched the Yagyu clan's best assassins with ease, Lone Wolf now faces an army of 5,000. Additionally, a sorcerer has set his own band of undead assassins on the Lone Wolf's trail.
