"Un hombre abandona la Ciudad de México para preparar su muerte en el lejano ambiente del campo. Mexican director Carlos Reygadas' first film is a poetic, existential drama that explores life, death, truth and redemption by following a suicidal old man on his journey through the rugged and unforgiving Mexican landscape.
