Toshinari Seki takes goofing off to new heights. Every day, on or around his school desk, he masterfully creates his own little worlds of wonder, often hidden to most of his classmates. Seki transforms himself into an old lady selling cheap candy, an avant garde artist who uses a very unusual medium, and even a marionette who mimics his own antics in miniature. Will Seki's artistic abilities land him a job as a manga artist?

All Yokoi wants is to be able to pay attention to her teacher's lessons, but somehow her focus is always pulled away to what Seki is up to.
