At first Jim is impressed with Norman's new pet bugs, but he quickly becomes jealous of all the time Norman spends with them and when the bugs have babies, Jim declares Norman has too many pets.

"Jim has been asked to egg-sit, but he wants to have fun with his friends. Is there a way he can do both?--

"On the spookiest night of the year, Jim Panzee and his jungle friends brave the dark for trick-or-treating. But the jungle looks and sounds very different at night. As the hunt for treats gets spookier and spookier, Jim and his friends tell themselves not to be scared, but a pair of glowing eyes in the pitch-dark jungle might push them over the edge! Jim Panzee feels that. Porcupine is having a big party, and according to Jim's best friend Norman, there will be--gulp--dancing. Jim can DEFINITELY not dance. When he tells his friends, they all try to teach him cool moves--surely that's the only reason Jim isn't excited about this party! Now, their job complete, the other animals sweep Jim along, all the way to the dance floor. Jim is dipped, swayed, and twirled until he can't take it anymore--he...

"Jim Panzee is out for his usual Wednesday walk when he accidentally squishes his stress orange into orange juice. He and his friends must cross the jungle before all of the fresh oranges are gone"--

Grumpy Jim Panzee decides that it is time for a new Jim, so he enlists his friends to help him get mad so he can stomp all his grumps out, and become a new Jim for the new year.

Jim Panzee learns that too much of anything, including having fun, has its downsides.

"Jim Panzee, really likes bananas. And that's all he ever wants to eat. Good luck getting him to try anything else because he is a pretty picky eater."--

"Jim Panzee is faced with something everyone hates ... waiting ... and waiting ... and more waiting. Jim tries to be patient but he's even impatient waiting for patience. It doesn't happen right away, but eventually, Jim realizes that some things are worth waiting for." -- Jim Panzee gets grumpy because Tortoise keeps asking "Are we there yet?" on a walk across the jungle.
