The book "The innocent years" is an autobiographical story of the childhood and youth of one of the greatest Polish writers of youth literature, Kornel Makuszynski. In his memoirs of children's play and mischief, first poetic attempts and first love, younger readers will find a reflection of their problems and joys, and older readers will find an opportunity to recall their own past.
