Young Jacob is tired of living on the family farm. One day he demands an early inheritance, and is shocked when his father agrees. For a while he does surprisingly well: he's got money, ladies, prestige. But when he loses it all and sinks lower than rock bottom, he comes to his senses and heads home determined to start all over in his father's business.
