Johnny Blaze is still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter. However, he may risk everything as he teams up with the leader of a group of rebel monks to save a young boy from the devil, and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

This story is based on events which occurred in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Distraught by the sudden, tragic death of his wife, a journalist finds himself mysteriously drawn to a small West Virginia town when his car inexplicably strands him. He soon learns that many of the town's residents have been beset by bizarre events, including sightings of an eerie "moth-like" entity, an entity similar to the one seen by his late wife.

Based on true events, this intense film is a vivid account of a renegade American journalist, his cameraman and a local woman caught behind enemy lines, and determined to not only survive, but tell the world what was happening, during the swift but devastating 5-day war between Russia and Georgia in 2008.
